Speaking of reviews, I was recently looking around for new asphalt running shoes (because my current pairs of Roclites are getting into that age), and found it interesting that the Inov8/Roclite brand seems to be non-existant in your general running, even trail running web sites. Not sure what to make of that.
I love trying new training shoes – almost as much as I love trying to figure out the best squat racks or thebest air bikes. There has been some buzz recently about the inov-8 F-LITE G 300s, which are marketed as a cross training shoe. After recently trying the Nike Free Metcon 4s, the Reebok Nano X1s, and the NOBULL Trainers I wanted to see how they stacked up.For this inov-8 F-LITE G 300
The upper is also incredibly strong. The rubber coating/mesh upper has yet to snag, yet is supple enough for a close fit. Cushion: The 22mm stack height makes for an extremely comfy ride. The Inov-8 Terraultra G 270 joins the Hoka One One Speedgoat and the Topo Ultraventure in a recent trend toward cushy trail runners. The Inov-8 F-Lite 195 is the lightest model in the F-Lite series. This minimalist shoe is good for running as well as any gymnastics or plyometric work. Lighter lifts go fine in these shoes, but with heavier lifts, we wanted more of a supportive sole like that of our Editors' Choice winner, the Reebok Nano 9 - Women's. These shoes hold up well

The Trailfly 250 is a shoe for trail running, but imho also suitable for the road. The Terraultra 260 at the time is and was a small sensation for me, because it combined 4 essential points that no other shoe delivered in this way. It's a zero drop shoe, so the forefoot and the heel are at the same level. The heel is not lifted.

Big mistake. I have run for 34 years and thought INOV-8 was the best shoe yet after trying almost all others, but the precision fit is terrible unless you have a very narrow foot. So get this shoe while it lasts as it is being discontinued. If INOV-8 does not continue to offer a standard fit shoe they will have lost a customer.
Improved heel cup with added padding for better comfort and foot security. Form-fitting tongue designed to hold the midfoot more securely. Inov-8 TrailFly G 270 V2. Stated Weight per Shoe (US Men’s Size 9): 270 g / 9.5 oz. Reviewer: 5’9”, 148 lbs / 180 cm, 67 kg. MSRP: $170. 0AdCZV.
