I use my .50 cal to one shot soldiers with a headshot or hit them while they are hiding behind a tree. Personally , for my playstyle and use , the mbp is the best sniper rifle. Well so far the SVD can 1 headshot any infantry for me, not sure about though a tree (never tried) so my point still stands why use the slowest firing slowest reloading

The SA-50 has better net stats, but if you are taking tougher shots from great distance, the better accuracy of the MBP will make a difference.
