The cops in MostWanted2005 were the best part of that game, and including police chases in any future need for speed is a must. Going back to empty streets like Underground would be a step back. TL;DR while I'd personally love a NFS Underground Remastered, the reason would be mostly nostalgia.
It is possible that EA might consider it, after all, we did get Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered in 2020. The most recent entry in this series only arrived last year with Need for Speed Unbound. So hopefully with a bit of luck, seeing as the fans want it, EA might just give us that Underground remaster we’ve been desperate to see.
