Connects to battery with croc clips again. 20 secs later Bosch reads 89% "Nothing wrong with that". So 5 year old battery lives on. I've read lots all about the rapid-rip-off outfits on various motoring forums but today to National and Halfords.
Just got the Octy serviced 2 weeks ago. Its a 4 yrs old TDI with 45k miles. On a few mornings its been hard to start, and when it starts it seems to lock all or some of the doors. It did the same this morning and reset the digital trip/ avg miles etc and locked all doors. Would this be a flat bat

Battery connectors seem full on and quite expensive according to google so I am assuming cables have been altered at some point. Google Stinger battery connector. You will find within 2 seconds Stinger make aftermarket audio power connectors (amongst other things).
